The Crux: It is about Sex at Any Price

In an article discussing the fact that more people have been aborted in Obama’s term than have gotten jobs, I saw the following exchange:

  • Are you saying that an unborn infant deserves a right to control its own body? Also, are you saying that woman are inferior because they can bear children?

    • The zef can control its own body when it no longer needs the body of its host to survive. I am saying anti-choicers view women as inferior because they want them to have no control over

The Death of the Republic and Gay Marriage

I have spoken out against gay ‘marriage’ from a number of different viewpoints on this blog but there is one angle that I feel reflects the real danger that gay ‘marriage’ presently poses, and that, in the United States, is the death of the Republic altogether.

There are of course all the other arguments, but ironically, pro-gay ‘marriage’ advocates like to brush those aside as being ‘religious’ in nature, and demand that you only bring ‘secular’ arguments, but this argument actually is secular.  Irony on top of irony, their arguments are the ones religious in nature.   I should mention this … continue reading...

Elliot Rodger–Would-be Modern Eugenicist

The dude who killed 6 before killing himself managed to get his manifesto posted to the web before offing himself.  Clearly, Elliot Rodger was not a well person.  Perhaps sometime I will have something more to say about him, having scanned his book.  I do not find his screed particularly surprising;  it seems exactly what we should expect in a hyper-sexualized society that emphasizes ‘fairness’ and elevates the alleviation or lack of suffering as the highest moral good.  What follows below is an excerpt where his viewpoint is summarized, and it dovetailed so well with some of my researches in … continue reading...

China is beating us at our own game; abortion is a population control measure, no more, no less

There are, of course, many people who are pro-choice because they sincerely believe the standard line that abortion on demand is a necessary evil (although sometimes they deny it is evil at all) in order for women to have ‘reproductive freedom.’  These people, I’m afraid to say, are nothing but sincere dupes.  The people that foisted abortion on demand in the ‘civilized’ West were concerned about population control, no more, no less.

The evidence for this is everywhere if anyone cares to look.  For example, the founder of Planned Parenthood herself, Margaret Sanger, sang the praises of ‘birth control’ in … continue reading...

The Ovens of our Era: More than One Way to Host a Holocaust

Today’s headline on the Drudge Report did not surprise me in the slightest:

ABORTED BABIES INCINERATED TO HEAT HOSPITALS

The article linked to is this one in the Telegraph:

Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals:
The remains of more than 15,000 babies were incinerated as ‘clinical waste’ by hospitals in Britain with some used in ‘waste to energy’ plants

I had a variety of thoughts hit me simultaneously and in quick succession.  I have read stories about abortionists tossing out sacks of aborted babies.  I am aware of the use of fetal materials derived from aborted children to create … continue reading...

What the Ukraine Can Teach us About the Future of America

Actually, a fair number of illustrations from a variety of countries in recent memory could have served.

As I write this, the president of the Ukraine has been deposed and there are tens of thousands of people massed in great, giant, demonstrations.

Have you ever noticed that in a certain *kind* of country, this is the kind of thing necessary in order to get rid of the bad men in charge?  Remember Libya?  Remember Egypt?  It probably would have worked in Iran, too, except for Obama’s refusal to challenge the fraudulent election there.

In saying this, I am not condoning … continue reading...

A concise summary of why progressivism is dangerous, by Alec Baldwin

Was reading Alec Baldwin’s “goodbye” this morning and saw this comment:

As progressive as I’ve been in my politics, there are other things I don’t think of as liberal or progressive, just common sense.

This statement concisely summarizes why progressivism, and progressives, are dangerous.  They do not view a large number of their viewpoints, up to and including some of their more controversial ones, as a function of their ideology.   In advocating for them, they are not being political;  no, they are just standing on the side of “common sense.”  If they actually believe this, they are lying … continue reading...

Rush Limbaugh, Jonathan Gruber, Eugenics, and Obamacare

I happened to be listening to Rush Limbaugh today and heard him discoursing on the eugenics-laced elements behind putative ‘Obamacare architect’ Jonathan Gruber’s recent remarks, viewable here.

Limbaugh did a better than adequate job analyzing these remarks, but there were a few points that I thought could be better made.  My credentials–I am on the verge of completing my PhD, my dissertation being on the subject of evolution and eugenics.  I founded a policy organization dedicated to detailing how the ‘culture of death’ (ie, eugenics-style thinking) has entrenched itself in unexpected ways in our government.  My organization is the … continue reading...

Support Sntjohnny/Athanatos Ministries with your NON-tax-exempt Donation

Every June, we run a donor drive.  In getting this year’s ready, I noted that my typical proviso that ACM is not tax-exempt had more significance than in previous years.

Over the last few weeks we have been regaled with case after case of conservative, Christian, anti-Obama, anti-Obama agenda organizations that have been targeted by the IRS.  Quite coincidentally, this began before the 2012 election.  This suppression has been public knowledge for several years, but the mainstream media, quite coincidentally, didn’t think it worth reporting on.  Nonetheless, despite the fact that it was all completely unintentional, there probably was an … continue reading...

When the Children are in Charge All Hell Breaks Loose

While this has been going on for years, the recent spate of over-the-top reactions to ‘guns’ in the schools is beginning to illustrate the consequences of ‘political correctness’ that people have also been warning about for years.  In a word, we are seeing the emergence of a soft tyranny, a stripping away of liberties, a perverted loss of any sense of proportion and common sense, and a humorous and absurd–but dangerous–disappearance of courage among grown adults.

In short, many areas of our country are presently run by children:  or people with infantile minds, at least.

How to steal an election, Alinsky-Style

It is hard to believe that I trust the government any less than I already did, but the latest ‘big three’ are really doing a trick, and my perception is that I’m not the only one fuming.  Last week I made a case for making your default position on government statements and explanations “This is a lie.”  The reasoning was that they would only try to do such cover-ups if they already had good reason to think they worked.  In other words, as bad as Benghazi, the AP intrusion, and the IRS oppression scandals are, it’s the things we don’t … continue reading...

Earth Day is Evil because Earth Day is Not about the Environment

“The power of population is so superior to the power of the earth to produce subsistence for man, that premature death must in some shape or other visit the human race. The vices of mankind are active and able ministers of depopulation. They are the precursors in the great army of destruction, and often finish the dreadful work themselves. But should they fail in this war of extermination, sickly seasons, epidemics, pestilence, and plague advance in terrific array, and sweep off their thousands and tens of thousands. Should success be still incomplete, gigantic inevitable famine stalks in the rear, and … continue reading...

Pro-Life Apologetics Conference: Defending the Faith is a Defense of Life

In just a little over a week, my ministry, Athanatos Christian Ministries, will be hosting our fourth annual online apologetics conference.

Each year, we pick a theme in which apologetics is integrated and applied.  Previous years saw apologetics incorporated into the arts, etc.  This year, the theme is life issues, and abortion in particular.

One’s views about God tends to impact one’s views on Man.  It is not a coincidence that people are more likely to describe themselves as pro-life if they are a Christian and pro-choice if they are an atheist.  On the former view, people have … continue reading...

Your Beliefs are a Threat to the State Itself

Christianity has always been considered a threat to governments, because it maintains that individuals answer first and foremost to God–and by ‘individuals’ we also mean those running the governments.

Rome led things off, even going so far as to accuse Christians of being atheists, for not being willing to give sacrifices to the gods.  Just one problem:  one of those gods was the emperor himself.  Despite being the best possible citizens one could have, Christians were deemed a threat to the integrity of the state itself.  I document and discuss this thoroughly in this long treatment I wrote awhile … continue reading...
