Kenyan Nightmare
January 4, 2008 – 9:50 am by sntjohnny. Filed under Blog, General. It is sad, really, that I was first made aware of the trouble in Kenya by hearing the news- and terrible news it is- that a church was burned down in Kenya with some 35 people trapped inside. Deliberately trapped and deliberately burned to death.
I’m really confused about why a church was targeted at all, or that such deliberate attention was paid to burning it down. This is something I’ll follow up on if I am able.
Other churches were burnt down, too. The picture to the right is one that he took while he was there not too long ago. Click the ‘more’ link to see pictures of what it looks like now.
As it stands right now, various Western countries are trying to help stabilize Kenya and there are calls for a new election. I can’t help but think that at the bottom of all of this we’ll discover the fruits of earlier colonial imperialism even in this most stable of African democracies. Time will tell?

The religion of peace strikes again. Note how the video reporter completely omits the fact that the perpetrators were Muslims (I had to go to another site to find out).
There is no better way to lose a war than to show your enemy you fear him or to let his claims of moral superiority stand unchallenged.
