My Letters from Antony Flew About “There is a God.”

I am happy to have had the honor to have corresponded with the recently deceased Antony Flew.  This correspondence occurred after he had abandoned atheism and before it had become publicly known that he was going to write a book documenting his conversion.

In Defense of Antony Flew’s Positions Against Richard Carrier’s Slanderous Chutzpah

The letters I received from Flew that I discuss below have been released in an ebook.  This ebook contains this essay as well as a few other remarks looking back on this tempest in a teapot.  You may buy this ebook using the links on this page (Kindle, etc.)  To my knowledge, Richard Carrier has yet to respond to this, except to dismiss it.  Bless him.

Antony Flew Under Attack by Atheists

This has been the case for awhile, now, but atheists all over are not giving Flew his due.  This site has a great list of taunts.

  • He’s losing/lost his mind.
  • He’s in it for the money.
  • He’s afraid of death.
  • Etc.

If this is not ad hominem, I don’t know what is.  If the challenge is that Flew hasn’t well defended himself, I could almost see it… thus the book… which hasn’t come out yet…. which, therefore, they can’t evaluate…. which means that at this point, they’re just being presumptive.  We have yet to see if his book provides good … continue reading...
