Upcoming Book Reviews and a Big Announcement

I am currently working on a number of book reviews. I’ve wanted to write one of Francis Collins’s “The Language of God” for a few months now. Not sure if that’s going to happen or not but I hope so.

One book that will be reviewed in short order is “Why We’re Not Emergent (By Two Guys Who Should Be)” by Kevin Deyoung and Ted Kluck. This is a pretty interesting book that raises a whole host of issues that I am interested in. It is due out in April, I believe. My review will come sooner than that… possibly next week.

A book that I will pick up as soon as it is available is Anne Rice’s new one “Christ the Lord: The Road to Cana” I posted a review of her “Out of Egypt” awhile back and was honored that she not only found it but posted a polite and pleasant comment. Pretty neat. Here is that review with her comment at the bottom.

I will be out of town on apologetics related speaking events from March 3rd through March 10th.  Enjoy!

Later today I will post a paper I wrote that is also a book review of John Dominic Crossan’s “The Historical Jesus.”
